Visual Search returns matching products from your catalogue when a shopper uploads or crops an image. It matches against your own SKUs (title, price, category and image), not a generic web index, and it plugs into every Idukki widget using the same product-drawer pattern your other widgets already use.
Set up Visual Search
- Sync your catalogue. Results are scored against your own products, so connect your store and let the catalogue finish importing first.
- Choose where shoppers trigger it. Expose a search-by-image button on the PDP, a tap-to-crop inside a UGC gallery, or a crop tool on a paused video frame. Pick the entry points that fit your storefront.
- Set a similarity floor. Every result returns a similarity score from 0 to 100. Decide whether to hide weak matches below a threshold or surface them with a "fuzzy match" badge.
- Test a search. Upload or crop a reference image and confirm the top results are relevant and that one tap adds them to cart.
How matching works
Only the cropped region is sent for matching, not a full-page screenshot, and no biometric data leaves the page. The request scores your catalogue products and returns the top matches with similarity, title, price, image and URL, rendered inline in the same drawer as the rest of your widgets.
