When someone questions whether you had permission to use a post, you need to show the record, not just say you asked. Idukki keeps a consent log: every rights state change is recorded with a timestamp, the user and the message.

What gets logged

  • When a request was sent, and how (automated, manual or registration).
  • When the creator approved, and the approval message or link they used.
  • Any expiry or revocation, with the time it took effect.
  • Who on your team made each change.

Export the audit trail

  1. Open the rights or audit view. Go to the rights area for the post or collection in question.
  2. Review the history. Read the full timeline of requests, approvals and changes.
  3. Export. Export the log as PDF or CSV for a regulator, legal review or internal record.
