Social sources are where most UGC comes from. Idukki connects to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter (X), LinkedIn and Threads. Each connects the same way: authorise read access, then choose what to pull in.
Connect a social source
- Open Sources. Go to Sources and choose Add source.
- Pick the network. Select Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn or Threads.
- Authorise read access. Sign in to that platform and approve the read permission so Idukki can see public posts.
- Choose the feed type. Decide whether to import your own posts, posts mentioning you, or posts under a hashtag.
- Let it sync. The first import runs in the background and the feed keeps refreshing as new content appears.
If it doesn’t work
If a source stops pulling content, re-authorise it; platform tokens can expire. Confirm the account or hashtag is public, since private content can’t be imported.
