Content isn’t syncing from a source

New posts aren’t showing up. How to tell whether it’s authorisation, visibility or just timing, and how to fix each.

If new posts aren’t arriving from a source, it’s usually one of three things: the connection has lapsed, the content is private, or it just hasn’t been picked up yet. Check them in that order.

Fix a stalled sync

  1. Re-authorise the source. Platform tokens expire. Re-authorise the source so Idukki can keep reading from it.
  2. Confirm the content is public. Private accounts and posts can’t be imported. Make sure what you expect to pull is public.
  3. Check the feed type. Confirm the source is set to the right feed (your posts, mentions or a hashtag) for the content you’re expecting.
  4. Give it time. Brand-new posts can take a little while to appear on the next refresh; they don’t always show instantly.
