Idukki tracks the full funnel from a widget being seen to a sale, so you can prove UGC is doing work rather than just looking nice. Knowing what each event means makes the dashboard far easier to read.

The events

  • idukki_widget_view: the widget entered a shopper’s viewport.
  • idukki_post_click: a shopper clicked a tile to engage with a post.
  • idukki_hotspot_open: a shopper opened a product hotspot.
  • idukki_add_to_cart: a shopper added a tagged product to cart from the widget.
  • idukki_purchase: a session that touched a widget completed a purchase.

Reading the funnel

View to click tells you whether the content earns attention. Click to add-to-cart tells you whether the products are tagged well and priced to convert. Add-to-cart to purchase is mostly your checkout. Watching where the drop-off is points you at what to change.
