AI Shopper is Idukki’s agentic-shopping surface. It sits inline on the product page as a panel (not a popup) where a shopper can ask a real question, get a composited try-on or room visualisation back, and add the right variant to cart in the same flow. It is the same surface documented at /agentic-shopping.
Turn on AI Shopper for a PDP
- Sync your catalogue. AI Shopper grounds its answers in your real products, so connect your store and let the catalogue sync first (titles, prices, images, variants).
- Enable the surface. Enable AI Shopper for the product template you want it on. It renders as an inline panel next to the buy options rather than as a sitewide modal.
- Pick the behaviours. Choose which capabilities to expose for your vertical: virtual try-on, room visualisation, shade or tone matching, before/after compare, and style or occasion bundles. Only enable what fits the category.
- Confirm add-to-cart. Run through a question on a preview PDP and confirm the variant and size the agent recommends carry through to the cart.
What it can answer
The agent holds context across the conversation and can pull a shopper’s uploaded or saved room photo, retrieve a SKU’s visual assets, and run the composition. Answers come back with a short piece of reasoning and a swap-variant action so a shopper can iterate without restarting.
If it doesn’t work
If answers are vague or miss products, re-run the catalogue sync so the agent has current SKUs to reason over. If a visualisation fails to render, confirm the product has usable images and that the behaviour (for example try-on) is enabled for that category.
