A CTA turns a post into a clear next step. Add CTA puts a call-to-action button on one post so a tile can drive a click wherever you want, a product page, a landing page, a campaign, without tagging a catalogue product.
Add a CTA button
- Open the post’s menu. Click the three-dot actions menu on the post.
- Choose Add CTA. Under the Engage section, click Add CTA ("Add a call-to-action button").
- Set the label and link. Enter the button text and the destination URL the button should open.
- Save. Save the post. The CTA button now shows on that tile in the live widget.
CTA vs product tagging
A CTA is a free-form button pointing anywhere you choose. Product tagging links a tile to specific SKUs with a shop or add-to-cart action. Use a CTA when the next step is not a single catalogue product, for example a collection page, a booking form or a campaign landing page. Use tagging when you want shoppers to buy the exact item in the post.
