Manual tagging doesn’t scale beyond a few hundred posts. AI tagging does. Idukki’s vision model looks at a post, finds the products in it and matches them against your catalogue with a confidence score, so you can make a large library shoppable without tagging every post by hand.
Tag a single post with Smart Assist
Open a post’s three-dot menu, choose Tag Products under Engage, then pick Smart Assist. As the dialog explains, you can highlight a region or use the full image, and the AI matches products from your catalogue with confidence scores. Accept the matches you want and save.
Add content tags with AI Auto-tag
On a post’s detail panel, the AI Auto-tag button adds descriptive content tags (the kind that power search and filtering) from the image in one click. It merges new tags in without duplicating ones already there.
Tag many posts with Bulk AI Tag
Select several posts, then use Bulk AI Tag to run AI tagging across all of them at once. This is the fast path for making a backlog shoppable rather than opening each post.
Set a confidence threshold
Automated tagging uses an AI Confidence Threshold (it defaults to 80%). Raise it to apply only the strongest matches and review more by hand, or lower it to let more matches through automatically. You can find this in the automated tagging settings for a collection.
Common issues
If the AI returns no matches, confirm your catalogue has synced and the product is enabled in your store. If too many weak matches get applied, raise the confidence threshold. To find posts that still need tagging, filter the collection to untagged posts.
