A pop-up puts a piece of UGC in front of a shopper at a chosen moment rather than waiting for them to scroll to it. Used sparingly, it lifts confidence; used carelessly, it annoys. The aim is timely, not intrusive.
Set up a pop-up
- Choose the collection. Pick the collection whose content you want to feature in the pop-up.
- Select the pop-up format. Choose the pop-up layout and set how it appears, for example after a short delay or on a chosen page.
- Set frequency. Limit how often a shopper sees it so returning visitors are not hit on every visit.
- Preview and publish. Preview on desktop and mobile, confirm it is easy to dismiss, then publish.
