Switching UGC and reviews vendors doesn’t have to mean a gap in your funnel. Idukki ships migration adapters for the common incumbents (Bazaarvoice, Yotpo, Loox, Okendo, Storista, Tolstoy, Videowise and EmbedSocial) so you can run in parallel, prove the lift, then cut over in a single day with reviews, UGC and rights state preserved.
Run a parallel migration
- Connect your store. Set up your ecommerce integration first so the catalogue is synced and tagged content has real SKUs to point at.
- Import from your incumbent. Use the migration adapter for your current vendor to bring across reviews, UGC and the rights state on each asset, so cleared content stays cleared and you keep your audit trail.
- Run Idukki alongside the old widget. Place Idukki on the same surface in shadow mode or as a second widget, and test it against your incumbent so you can read the lift before you commit. (See the A/B testing guide for reading significance.)
- Cut over. Once you’re happy, swap the incumbent’s embed for Idukki’s. Because content and rights state already migrated, there’s no flicker and no gap in the funnel.
If it doesn’t work
If some content doesn’t come across, confirm the adapter has read access to your incumbent’s account or export, and that the assets exist in that source. If rights state looks wrong after import, check the consent log to see what each asset carried over with before publishing it.
