How we score

Nine dimensions, the ones that separate a converting description from a thin one.

The rubric is the same checklist we run when we audit a brand’s PDP copy. It rewards concrete facts and benefit language, and it penalises the filler that reads as generated. Heuristic and deterministic, so the same draft always scores the same.

    Length & substance

    Is there enough to decide on, without becoming a wall? The 40-160 word band scores best.

    Specificity

    Measurable facts: dimensions, weight, materials, capacity, numbers. The detail buyers screen on.

    Benefit vs feature

    Does each feature translate into what the buyer gets ("…so you can…", "…means no more…")?

    Sensory & use-case

    How it feels and where it is used, so the shopper can picture owning it.

    Trust & social proof

    A rating, review count, guarantee or return window that resolves the "is this safe to buy" doubt.

    Scannability

    Bullets and short sentences. Shoppers scan before they read.

    Readability

    Run-on sentences over ~32 words drag the read. One idea per sentence is faster.

    No filler / AI-tells

    Penalises cliché phrasing ("seamless", "game-changer", "premium quality", "in today's…") that proves nothing.

What the rewrite is, and is not.

The “better version” is a structured scaffold: your copy, cleaned and reordered into the shape a product page wants. It does not invent specs or claims, and it is not an AI rewrite. Does this use AI?+

No. The grader is a heuristic, deterministic rubric, the same input always scores the same, and it runs entirely in your browser. The rewrite is a structured scaffold of your own words, not a generated rewrite. Idukki's AI can take it further inside the app.

How is the score calculated?+

Nine weighted dimensions: substance, specificity, benefit language, sensory and use-case detail, trust hooks, scannability, readability, filler / AI-tells, and a clear CTA. Each is scored 0-100 and combined into a weighted overall score.

What is the "better version"?+

A structured improvement scaffold: it strips filler from your text, splits run-on sentences and reorders the content into a hook, 3-5 benefit-led bullets, a spec block, a trust line and a CTA. It never invents specs, numbers or claims, bracketed lines are prompts for you to fill in.

Is anything uploaded?+

No. The scoring runs client-side, so your draft copy never leaves the page. The only thing posted anywhere is your email, and only if you choose to join the list.
