How to Embed Trustpilot Reviews on Your Website (2026 Guide)

TrustBox widgets, the Business API tier that unlocks a custom display, and how to get Trustpilot's star rating into your own Google search results.

Trustpilot is the most straightforward of the review platforms to embed, because it was built to be embedded. The official TrustBox widgets cover most needs for free; the gap most brands actually hit is getting that star rating to show up in Google's own search results, which the widget alone doesn't do.

Trustpilot's Business dashboard generates embed code for a range of widget types: a compact star rating (Mini), a scrolling carousel of recent reviews, a full grid, and a review-collector prompt that also asks for new reviews. Copy the script and paste it wherever the widget should render; it pulls live from your Trustpilot profile with no further maintenance.

This covers the common cases well. What it doesn't do is let reviews from Trustpilot sit in the same gallery as Google, Feefo or your social channels, and it doesn't automatically get the review data into Google's own search snippets for your site.

Method 2: The Trustpilot Business API

A paid Business plan unlocks Trustpilot's API, which is the route to a fully custom review display, filtered subsets of reviews, or pulling review data into another system entirely. It's a real option if you already have engineering time budgeted and need something the widget templates genuinely can't do.

Method 3: One review widget for everything (Idukki)

Idukki connects Trustpilot as one of several review sources (alongside Google, Feefo and TripAdvisor), aggregating them into a single widget that carries Review and AggregateRating structured data. That schema is what lets your star rating show up directly in Google search results for your own site, not just on Trustpilot's. See embedding Google reviews for the mechanics of that schema in more detail.

Embed on Shopify, WooCommerce or a custom site

Shopify: install the Idukki app, connect Trustpilot, add the review widget block from the Theme Editor. WooCommerce: the Idukki plugin plus a shortcode or block on the PDP or homepage. Anything else: one script tag.
